Dr. Contreras earned his medical degree from University of Miami, School of Medicine, Miami, FL.  Following his graduation from medical school, Dr. Contreras completed his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Boston University Medical Center, Boston, MA. He has completed a fellowship in Interventional and Vascular Radiology from Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute, Miami, FL. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Contreras serves as the Interventional Radiology Section Chief.
